Project Wingman’s gameplay is largely inspired by the Ace Combat series of games, in which the player can choose from a variety of proposed fighters to participate in battles against air, sea and land targets. Most of the aircraft are based on real-life models, their names and designs have been slightly modified to prevent copyright infringement. Mafia: Definitive Edition is a computer game in the genre of action-adventure and third-person shooter, which is a remake of the game Mafia: The City of Lost Heaven. The remake was developed by Hangar 13, the creator of Mafia III. As in the original, the game takes place in the fictional city of Lost Heaven, and the main character is a taxi driver Tommy Angelo, who became a gangster in one of the mafia groups in the city. Mafia: Definitive Edition brought several original improvements to the story and gameplay of the original, and recreated the Mafia: The City of Lost Heaven setting from scratch. Continue reading
The game is set in a 1920s alternate story universe created by Polish artist Jakub Ruzalski and popularized through the board game Scythe. The source of inspiration for the artist’s paintings is the Polish-Soviet war of 1919-1920, and the theme of the game is described as “dieselpunk mecha”. The story focuses on a conflict between three countries in Central and Eastern Europe: Polania, Rusvet and Saxony (they are based on real countries, Poland, a mixture of the Russian Empire and the Soviet Union and Germany, respectively), which takes place sometime in the 1920s. after the First World War.
Anna Kos is a young girl who lived with her father Peter in Polania, which was occupied by the Rusvet army after a truce was signed with Saxony to end a large-scale war in which her brother Janek was killed. Continue reading
